The above configuration gives you the following from your listed wesite under $1000.00 USD :
2500k Intel Sandybridge (best cpu period for the money) overclock it to 4.5+ and you will see insane performance for ANY game provided you have a decent dx11 GPU
2133 mhz ddr3 - very very fast memory, this will hold you out until DDR4 in 2014
ASROCK motherboard best mobo for the $$ right now by far.. has Sata 6, USB 3.0, its a black board with gold caps but the best part is its the only board in its price range with SLI/CROSSFIRE and …. has PCI express 3.0!! which no video card even uses yet. I recently got this board and the UEFI bios is very nice as well
SSD, I can not say it enough about SSD (my windows loads in 13 seconds flat and I never see characters appearing on my screen in ff14 because they are already there lol. If you need more storage install and HDD drive, raid 0 config it with the SSD. 64gigs is more than enough for windows and around 4 current games. Just make sure to install your games and windows on the SSD drive for super fast read/write access
Coolermaster Hyper 212 (very decent cooler and this site was very cheap for it, this will let you reach 4.8 ghz on that cpu if the chip itself can handle it. You can find many great reviews on this cooler and the other parts I picked.
6950 Radeon Pretty much the best bang for the buck GFX Card, get another one later and crossfire for more speed. I run a 580 GTX Zotac AMP but its basically overkill because I run two copies of FFXIV @ 1080p on two separate monitors @ 60 fps each
CoolerMaster HAF very nice case, I got one of these for a friend of mine when we built his rig a few months ago. It comes with basically every case feature you could want. Water cooling gromets, SSD drive slots and it does not look super flashy.. kinda has a terminator look to it with the steel + red lights.
