There is a program called FFXIV Chatty listed in the marketplace. It's roughly $3.00 but it boasts the ability to chat in FFXIV via /tell /ls /say etc using your cell phone… 3G/4G or Wifi. Just thought it was interesting and I'd let you guys know
Have they fixed it yet? Last I checked it wasn't functioning and they weren't going to update until some more patches come (specifically the changes to the chatlog may have an effect on it, no?)
Haven't had a chance to try it out personally. I read a few reviews and some people said it worked for them some said it didn't. The guys over at FFEvo have something similiar based on the Chatty script also. Theirs might be a little more functional.
